Each person in this world has an ability to impact a person or many people one way or another.
Even the introverted ones, believe it or not.

You have an influence no matter what role, position, no position for that matter. Roles and positions do not matter when it comes to influencing others.

In his book “Never Give Up”, author John Mason (bestselling author of “An Enemy Called Average”), he emphasizes 25 ways how to lead and influence others. I highlighted my 5 favorites: 

1. launch forth before success is certain.
2. are always full or praise.
3. are people of honesty and integrity.
4. are genuinely interested in others.
5. learn to say “thank you” and “please” on the way to the top.
6. are always growing.
7. are possessed with dreams.
8. are good communicators.
9. are specific about what is expected.
10. hold others accountable.
11. are positive and confident.
12. value results over talk.
13. are unafraid of confrontation.
14. talk about their own mistakes before they talk about someone else’s.
15. ask great questions.
16. are quick to praise and encourage the smallest amount of improvement.
17. have good reputations.
18. make others better.
19. make quality decisions.
20. look for and praise someone doing something right.
21. respond to their own failures before others have to reveal them.
22. take others up with them.
23. never allow gossiping from themselves or others.
24. do what is right rather than what is popular.
25. are servants.
